Here are the simple steps to follow.
Shopping list:
- Block mount canvas or artist board. You could even use a piece wood you might have lying around, it could be square, rectangle or whatever to create different looks.
- Spray paint - we used silver, but no ones saying you cannot go for lime green.
- Little wood letters to spell out what you would like to say - we went with the classic 1 Cor 13:13 - these can be found at an arts and craft store.
- Glue.
- Ribbon to suit your style.
What to do:
- Glue your words to your board / canvas.
- Put lots of newspaper down, making sure the floor around the sides of your board is well protected.
- Spray paint your board, be sure to spray evenly not too close to create run marks on your creation. Make sure you get in-between your letters and on the sides.
- Once this is 100% dry, add embellishments, such as a ribbon to balance it off. We had a little wire heart lying around which we added as well.
And that's all! If you've used something other than a block canvas, now all you have to do is add a hook to the back, so it can be hung up in the perfect spot easily.
